Jaime Schmeiser is the president/CEO of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., where she assists, supports, promotes, and advocates on behalf of Sullivan County’s business community.

Jaime has over 24 years of administration, leadership, and rural community economic development experience. Jaime has played an active role in community partnership development, grant writing, and volunteer management with such organizations as Habitat for Humanity and Main Street USA.

She has created successful programs such as Main Street Powell, which assists in the development and expansion of business-client relationships while building and strengthening coalitions by working with community stakeholders.

Jaime is a strong believer in inclusiveness, and genuinely welcomes and celebrates diverse voices and perspectives. Jaime holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wyoming, an Associate of Arts from Northwest College. She also holds various certifications in grant writing, business management, residential mortgage banking, bookkeeping, and Main Street best practices. Jaime has four children and two dogs.
