Narrowsburg is the only municipality in the Town of Tusten and currently, one of the centers of artistic life in the county. It is home to the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance which highlights regional artists in its gallery spaces and coordinates and supports art, music, literary and other cultural programs. Narrowsburg is also home of the nationally recognized Narrowsburg International Independent Film Festival and the Narrowsburg Riverfest.

The Delaware Valley Opera presents fully staged productions with orchestra. These many cultural undertakings have stimulated Narrowsburg to beautify its quaint Main Street that is currently lined with antique shops, galleries and restaurants. A full compliment to nature,  Main Street overlooks the widest eddy in the Delaware River that is frequently crisscrossed by eagles.
