Bridgeville, N.Y. – The Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development recently announced the promotion of Michele Klugman Resnick to the position of vice president. Klugman Resnick also serves as the Partnership’s director of marketing.
The Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development is a private/public partnership established in 1994 to better serve the needs of relocating and/or expanding businesses in Sullivan County.
In her new capacity as vice president, Klugman Resnick will:
-Assist the Partnership’s president in implementing strategic goals set forth by the Partnership’s Board of Directors;
-Provide technical support and project management for economic development, including business acquisition and retention;
-Develop and implement ongoing membership and fundraising strategies;
-Oversee all financial aspects of bookkeeping and reporting; and
-Conduct annual meetings and elections.
“Michele has been an asset to the Partnership since the day she joined us; I’m already enjoying working with her in her new role,” said Allan Scott, president of the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development.
“With these additional responsibilities, I’m excited to be able to further the Partnership’s positive impact on Sullivan County’s business community,” said Klugman Resnick.
Klugman Resnick holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Prior to joining the Partnership in May of 2011, she served as Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther’s Chief of Staff.
