for Economic Development
The Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development is a private/public partnership established in 1994 to better serve the needs of relocating and/or expanding businesses in Sullivan County. The Partnership is funded primarily by private business with matched funding from the County Legislature and the Industrial Development Agency.
The Partnership, by design, takes the position of our clients when assisting those prospects looking to invest or expand in Sullivan County. Private investors make up nearly 100% of the governing body of the organization and work through a board of directors, various committees and a dedicated professional staff. It is through the policies and guidance of this board structure that the Partnership carries out its stated mission.
